Wexner Heritage Village President and Chief Executive Officer David Rosen announced today that Tom McDermott, CPA, has stepped into his new role as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer.
“We could not be more thrilled to have Tom on board,” Rosen said. “His financial acumen and years of experience in the healthcare industry are going to be a tremendous asset. And Tom is known among his peers for his ability to work collaboratively and with genuine commitment and loyalty.”
Most recently, McDermott served for six years as CFO of Fayette County Memorial Hospital in Washington Court House. Before that he was president and chief operating officer of several firms specializing in accounting and information technology specifically for healthcare organizations. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting, with a minor in business administration, from Western Michigan University and is a member of several different professional organizations.
McDermott succeeds David Driver, who left WHV after 12 years as CFO to pursue other career interests.
McDermott lives in Delaware with his wife, Angela, and two daughters.
